STUDENT INFO           

·      Come to Our Beauty on Saturday, Mar. 11 at 2-3pm in the small theatre! Enjoy food, art, and performances, all while supporting cultural representation in art and media! Reserve your FREE tickets with [email protected] or at ourbeautymb.weebly.com. One ticket per person.

·      Community Service Opportunity: Come log some hours helping out at the Grand View Fair on Sunday, April 30 from 11 am – 3 pm at Grand View Elementary. We need volunteers to look after kids in the bouncies, on the obstacle course and to help in the arts and crafts booth. ·      Come by the Student Store and/or Room 40/41 to buy Stampede Shirts. You can purchase one for $5 or 3 for $10.

·      Looking for a good time? Want some excitement in your life? Come to the Comedy Sportz Match this Friday in the new theatre at 7 pm to watch Costa play against Peninsula! Tickets are $5. Be there or be a triangle!

·      Need community service? Or just want to have FUN? Be part of history and paint with Portraits of Hope by helping with their newest civic art project, “Promoting Pet Adoption through Animal Shelter Revitalizations.” Sign up NOW for their Sat/Sun painting sessions at [email protected]. SENIORS

·      Attention Seniors! Come by the ASB Room during 4th or 5th period, or Mrs. Claypoole’s Room, or the Student Store to pick up your senior shirts! They are one for $5 or 3 for $10.

·      Attention Seniors! You can audition to perform at Graduation or the Senior Recognition. Deliver a speech or perform a song! Applications are available starting TODAY, Mar. 1, and are due Mar. 31. Come pick one up in Ms. Howerton’s Room 16.

SPORTS

·      MCHS Cheerleading tryouts for the 2017-2018 season are happening soon. Come to the mandatory tryout meeting in the MCHS Drama Room 1 at 7pm on Tuesday, Mar. 7. ·      Vasrsity Boys’ Lacrosse takes on El Segundo at home tomorrow night, Friday, Mar. 3 at 7 pm. There will be a food truck, so come hungry! Please wear green & gold, and come cheer on the team!

·      El Camino Bound Students – After you take your ECC assessment test, your next step towards priority registration is to meet with an ECC Counselor. There will be an ECC Counselor available in the CCC to meet with you on Wednesdays from 12:20pm – 2:40pm. Reserve your appointment date and time in the CCC.

·      Career Speaker Series Professionals in various industries will visit the CCC to speak about their careers and the path they took to get there. This is a great opportunity to learn about different careers and the steps you need to take to gain opportunities for internships and to land your dream job. Please sign-up on Naviance or in the CCC.
