STUDENT INFO           

·      Congratulations to the Marching Band and Colorguard for a great show at their first competition of the season. At the Royal Classic this Saturday, a tournament with over 30 competitors, your Mustangs were named the Grand Champion Sweepstakes winner for having the best performance on the Tournament!  The last chance to see their show “Outside the Bachs” here on campus will be in three weeks at halftime during the Redondo Game. Don’t miss it!

·      It’s time for the annual PTSA Reflections Art Contest. Contest rules and forms are in the Admin Office or on-line under the News Section on Mira Costa’s home page. Submit any art entry to Ms. Gardner in the Admin Office. Deadline is Friday, Oct. 20. Any questions, please contact Ms. Kim Smith at [email protected]. Happy creating J.

·      NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE? The folks on Skid Row desperately need hygiene kits. Two hygiene kits equal 1 hour of community service. ·      Get ready for a brand new Homecoming unlike any other dance before. This year’s tented “glow-in-the-dark dance” is taking place on the new West Field on Oct. 21 at 7 pm. CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

·      Going to Improv Club every Tuesday during lunch in Room 1 is like using herbs in your food. It’s a fun thyme!

·      Come to Drama Club every Wednesday during lunch in Room 1 for announcements on new and exciting things happening in the Drama/Tech department.

·      Cyber Security: Cyber Patriot training is Oct. 17 from 3 – 5 pm in Mrs. Weaver’s Room 112.

·      Drone Club: Want to learn about Drones? Come try out our racing drone simulator in Ms. Weaver’s Room 112 on Mondays (TODAY) during lunch.

·      SENIORS – The CCC will hold a Common App-Naviance matching workshop on the following time/date. No sign up necessary.

·      SoCal Roc is now enrolling for its 2nd quarter 9 week classes- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), Banking and Financial Services, and Business Entrepreneur. Classes begin November 6. Come to the CCC to sign up to speak with a SoCal Roc counselor and learn more about the interactive Career Technical classes that we offer.

·      Local Events Pepperdine Preview on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017. Classroom visits, student affairs panel, campus tour, Celebration Chapel, and an application workshop will provide you with an in-depth look at Seaver College and the Malibu campus.
