· Office Hours: If you are unable to check in for Office Hours, go to the administrative office for assistance.
· Ambassador Club is hosting a special Thanksgiving lunch TODAY in Room 21 for all new kids. Friends are welcome too. Please come to have a good time!
· Holiday Benefit Auditions will be Monday, Nov. 29 at 3:00 pm in the Drama Room 1. Please come prepared with a Holiday-themed song, scene, monologue, dance or instrumental audition no longer than 3 minutes.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
· Black Scholars Union meets every Thursday in Room 74 at lunch. We have several new initiatives for this year that we would love for you to be a part of. All new members are welcome!
· Did you come from another school district? Bring your lunch and come to Ambassador Club TODAY at lunch in Room 21 to meet other students and become better acquainted with the school. Let’s have a great year!
· Mental Health Awareness Club: Come to Room 21 Tuesdays to learn about mental health and, more importantly, how to spread awareness about these struggles.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
- Upcoming College Visits – Please sign up on Naviance If visit is during class, please ask your teacher for permission to attend.
- Tuesday, 11/22 – US Naval Academy at 9am.
- Tuesday, 11/29 – Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) at 9am.
- Wednesday, 11/30 – El Camino College at 9:27am (AM Office Hours).
- Drop off your UC Personal Insight Questions to be reviewed by a College & Career Counselor. Be sure to include your name, email address and the prompts you are responding to. Deadline to turn in prompts to be reviewed is TODAY, Nov. 21. Remember UC applications are due Nov. 30!
- The CCC will close at 3:30pm on Nov. 22 and Dec. 7. Please plan accordingly.
