Three Mira Costa Students Named 2017 YoungArts Winners

Mira Costa is proud to announce that three of our students were named 2017 National YoungArts Foundation Honorable Mention Winners. Congratulations to:

Bridger Hart (12th) - Cinematic Arts

Kira Levin (10th) - Voice/Jazz Voice

Maxwell Rohde (12th) - Jazz/Double Bass

Bridger, Kira, and Maxwell join 691 outstanding teenage artists from 40 states who will receive awards, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. They represent the top 8.67% of applications. Additionally, as 2017 Honorable Mention Winners, they were invited to participate in the YoungArts Los Angeles regional program that will be held from March 28-April 2. Kira and Maxwell will be a part of this year's program. Bridger attended the event last year as a 2016 YoungArts Foundation Merit Winner in Cinematic Arts. Winners are only allowed to participate in one regional program in their lifetime!

These three 2017 YoungArts Winners are proud to represent our school and join past Mira Costa alumni Darryn Dean (2015 - Voice/Jazz Voice Finalist), Julia McDermott (2014 - Theater/Musical Theater Finalist), Daniel Stanfill (2011 - Voice/Jazz Voice Finalist), and Justin Filbrich (2011 - Voice/Tenor Honorable Mention) who were past YoungArts Winners.
