This school year, Mira Costa will continue to focus on fostering a healthy, productive, supportive school culture through communication, collaboration and accountability. Recently, a group of students, staff, parents and district leaders have formed the Social-Emotional Wellness Committee.
If you are a Freshman parent, please join us at the Parent Q&A Session, August 18th from 8 am to 10 am. While your child enjoys orientation, you are invites to attend this informational event. This will be a great opportunity to discuss topics like Aeries, Office Hours, parental involvement opportunities, Canvas, and much more.
In addition, the PTSA’s goal is to gain more participation from Parents, Teachers and Students. PTSA isn’t just about fundraising; it’s about getting involved for our children. We all share the same goal of helping our children succeed. Help us achieve our goal by creating a spirited environment and providing our children with a high school experience they will remember for a lifetime to come. In order for this to happen, we are asking for a commitment from our parents. Please support the PTSA this year and encourage all Mira Costa families to be part of this movement as well.
