Visual & Performing Arts
Mira Costa High School offers a diverse curriculum in visual and performing arts. The Visual and Performing Arts department is committed to creating a comprehensive program with specialized areas of study. At the introductory level, course offerings include: Art, Ceramics, Photography, Video Production, Painting, Printmaking, 3D Fabrication, Choir, Drama, PE Band/Marching Band, and Orchestra. Students can advance to second and third year study in most courses. Advanced courses are available in AP Art History, AP Studio Art, AP Music Theory, Broadcast Journalism, Choir, Drama, and Orchestra.
