Algebra A/B & Algebra II

Lindsay was born and raised in Manhattan Beach and went through all the school systems in the Manhattan Beach Unified School District. She graduated from Mira Costa High School lettering in Varsity soccer. With her hard work and dedication, she was fortunate enough to earn a full academic scholarship to play division I soccer at Long Beach State. This was her top pick because it was her dream to play soccer in college and the college offered a great teaching credential program. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, she finished her teaching credential by student teaching at Mira Costa High School under Mr. Kelley. Her first year of teaching was at Manhattan Beach Middle School where she taught Pre-Algebra course 1 and Math 7 (collaboration class). The following year, a position opened up at the high school so she transferred there. Besides teaching, soccer has been her passion since she was a little girl. That is why she has been involved in the soccer community and has been the JV women's soccer coach at Mira Costa since 2009. This is her third year of teaching and second year at Mira Costa. She is a south bay resident living with her husband and two dogs :)
