·      NEED COMMUNITY SERVICE? Lunches with Love is collecting bagged hygiene kits AND holding our first-ever TOY DRIVE in partnership with Union Rescue Mission. They have an unprecedented number of women, children and families, and are in dire need of unwrapped toys, beauty products and gift cards for all ages including teens. CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

·      Did you know, 663 million people in the world live without clean water? Join Charity: Water Club to help change this number. Meetings take place on Mondays at lunch in Room 102, starting 11/13. There will be cookies!

·      Come to Drama Club every Wednesday (TODAY) in Room 1 during lunch for announcements on new and exciting things happening in the Drama/Tech Department.

·      South Bay Food Initiative: Come to the club where you are given the opportunity to make our city a better and safer place. This club gives you a direct way to aid the bottom of the population pool in LA. Come join us Tuesdays in Mr. Piper’s Room 203 during lunch – do the right thing.

 

COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER

·      College Representative Visits In The CCC – If visit is during class please get teacher permission to attend. This is an opportunity to learn about your schools of interest and meet the admission counselors. View all visits and sign-up to attend on NAVIANCE.

o  Thursday, 11/9 UC Santa Cruz at 8:46am.

·      SoCalRoc: The SoCalRoc Counselor is available in the CCC every Monday from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Please sign up in the CCC to meet with her or drop in for more information about SoCalRoc class offerings.

·      Local Events El Camino College Night Wednesday, November 15, 5:30-8:00pm.

-Learn about ECC programs and resources, tour the campus, and have popcorn with the President.
