STUDENT INFORMATION
• Attn: Students/Parents, please do not deliver or have delivered Birthday/Special Occasion flowers/stuffed animal/balloons, etc. to your student while at school. The admin/attendance office will not contact them nor have the items delivered to the classroom.
• Mira Costa T shirt/Sweatshirt order forms available in the Admin. Office.
• Baseball tryouts after school at the baseball field TODAY. Any questions see Coach Olson in room 203.
• It’s time to vote for California Young Reader Medal book nominees. Come by the library to vote by March 30.
• Attn. Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors: A representative from the U.S. Naval Academy will be in the CCC during lunch TODAY to discuss admission requirements and life at the Naval Academy.
• It’s time for the annual student planner cover contest! 3 winning designs will be voted upon. Submit 5 x 8 artwork by March 30 to admin office!
• Come to our Annual Aids Benefit tomorrow, February 16th at 7 pm in Room 1. Donations $5.00 and all proceeds go to Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids.
• Come to the library to view our display of books for Black History Month, and consider checking one out.
• SCROC will be CLOSED tomorrow, February 16th. No bus pick-up and the SCROC campus will be closed.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS
• Come invest some of your time at lunch TODAY and visit Investor’s Club in Room 225. No prior investing knowledge needed.
• Come to Giving Hope Club TODAY in Room 45! We are taking our yearbook picture TODAY so it is very important that everyone comes.
• Come to Growing Great Club Room 15 for yearbook pictures!
• Come to Room 33 at lunch TODAY and help save lives at Premature Baby Protection Club!
• Cooking Club is Thurs. in Room 5! Everyone is welcome! The theme is Mexican.
• Pink Ribbon Club will be meeting TODAY at lunch in Room 67.
SPORTS
• Congratulations to the Mira Costa Cheerleading Competition team for competing at Nationals in Florida this past week- Welcome back and Good job!
SENIORS
• Attn: Seniors completing a scholarship notebook: Transcripts will be available for you to pick up in the CCC. Please make sure you have your transcript inserted into your books before you turn them in. Scholarship notebooks are due Wed. February 29th by the end of lunch period. No exceptions.
COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER
• Attn: Juniors: Catalyst is holding a SAT Boot camp at MCHS on Saturday, March 3rd and Sunday, March 4th from 9am -1pm both days, to prepare students for the March 10th SAT. • The CCC will be closed Thursday 2/16 and Friday 2/17 while the counselors are on college tours.
FACULTY
