Art 1-2 , 3-4, 5-8 (Period 2)

This Class is designed to offer students a well-rounded background in art. Students will be introduced to a variety of media, technique and methods and learn to use art elements and design principles in creating original compositions in 2 and 3 dimensions. Art historical background will be given as well as in depth exploration of contemporary art movements.
Students will also learn how critique art with analytical writing and in group sessions.
