Ceramics 1-2 (Period 4)

This course is designed for beginning and advanced students in ceramics and 3-d design/sculpture. Projects will expose the students to hand building methods, wheel throwing, and surface treatments - (glaze, stain and surface decoration). Students will be required to keep records of each project, do written and sketch assignments exploring design basics, and analyzing art forms. Vocabulary of art terms and art history will be taught throughout the course.
