Use resources from class instruction (e.g. Barron's Poetry on the AP handout) and online resources to create a PowerPoint presentation which will be presented to classmates starting next Tuesday.

The PowerPoint should be constructed in such a way that all points addressed in the Poetry Presentation Guidelines (see attached PowerPoint)--be sure to include a title slide. Slides for the section on author and poem background as well as social context can be pictures--be sure in your presentation you explain the biographical details and historical context of the poem. (do not write a paragraph on the Powerpoint--bullets which you elaborate upon are appropriate)

Include a slide with the text of the poem (to accompany the reading portion of the presentation); include one (or more than one) slide with particular poetic techniques utilized by the author and examples of those techniques. During the presentation, use those slides to discuss the way in which the techniques and examples persuade a listener in the cause promoted by the author.

Be sure your presentation clearly addresses the target of the protest in the "historical importance" or "esoteric themes" section.
