STUDENT INFO           

·      AP Students: The first AP Exam pre-identification session is Thursday, April 20 at 7:00 am in the Library. The meeting will last approximately 40 minutes. Students need to be on time and bring a #2 pencil and something (a clipboard, book, etc.) on which to write.

·      Interested in AP Studio Art next year? See Mrs. Heredia in Room 62 for more information and to set up a portfolio review.

·      Come on down to see the musical Oklahoma! April 21 through April 29! Pre-sale tickets will be available in the Mustang Mall starting TODAY for the presale price of $15 for adults and $10 for students & seniors.

·      Community Service Opportunity: Come log some hours helping out at the Grand View Fair on Sunday, April 30 from 11 am – 3 pm at Grand View Elementary. We need volunteers to look after kids in the bouncies, on the obstacle course and to help in the arts and crafts booth. ·      Career Speaker Series: Professionals in various industries will visit the CCC to speak about their careers and the path they took to get there. This is a great opportunity to learn about different careers and the steps you need to take to gain opportunities for internships and to learn about your future dream job. Please sign up on Naviance or in the CCC. All grade levels are welcome! Watch the bulletin for additional speakers.

o   Women in Business/Lean In: Taking Chances With Confidence – Lily Chang **Rescheduled for Wednesday,  April 26 at 9:27am (AM Office Hours)**

·      El Camino Counseling Appointments – A counselor from El Camino College will be in the CCC on Wednesday afternoons. If you are planning on attending El Camino in the fall, sign up for your appointment in the CCC.

·      Featured Program – UC Irvine Summer Surgery Program The program offers two, two-week intense sessions for mature high school students who are at least 16 years old, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and are currently enrolled in high school (2017 graduates are welcome to apply). Observe live surgical cases, gain hands-on experience with our state of the art da Vinci robot. Learn actual surgical skills in open laparoscopic and robotic surgery through surgical skills workshops. Perform in-depth fetal pig dissection with an emphasis on the types of surgical cases the students will see in the operating room. Tuition for the Summer Surgery Program:  Session 1 – July 10th - July 21st cost is $4,550 per student; Session 2 – July 24th - August 4th cost is $4,550 per student or $5,850 per student with room and board.
