 JOBS & INTERNSHIPS

It may seem difficult to find internships specifically for high school students.  We've listed links below for you to search for internships that may interest you.  You may also want to contact local places of business, hospitals, retail stores, etc. to see if they offer internships or if you could set one up with them.

Career Development Workshops

High school and college age individuals are in a critical time of their lives when they are facing challenges such as establishing their identity and making important life transitions.  Attending programs such as Find Your Path 2019 help to enhance their ability to adapt to change and stressful situations, become involved in purposeful activities, and connect with positive peers and adults.  It also helps to build knowledge about high-risk behaviors and their consequences.

The workshops (enrollment is limited) are being held at the Beach Cities Health District lower level meeting rooms on 514 North Prospect Avenue, Redondo Beach CA  90277.
This is part of a community engagement project funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to promote a holistic model of services focused on positive youth development.  As part of this project, I would also be interested in engaging in discussions with you about the needs of youth around these topics.  Please feel free to contact me with questions and ideas about this project.
