hello and welcome to what I anticipate to be another great year at Mira Costa High School my name is Bill and Hoff and I'm your child's trigonometry probability and statistics teacher the first semester is devoted entirely to trigonometry which is a branch of mathematics that open the relationships I'm on the sides and angles of triangles and was used in the development of astronomy navigation and surveying we'll take our time explore all of these relationships to properly prepare you for precalculus and eventually calculus stop sylheti and statistics will be the second semester course and this is a branch of mathematics that deals with how to collect organize analyze in a numerical information from data will also take our time and explore all of these relationships to properly prepare you for an AP Statistics course are any introductory college-level statistics class my grading scale is consistent with the districts plus minus system
