Keshia Fields holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and Master’s Degree in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Ms. Fields believes that as a school counselor, she has the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of students. Her approach to counseling is to treat each student as an individual, and encourage them to focus on the strengths in their lives in order to find solutions. She strives to be a resource, a motivator, a college search engine, a listening ear, a team player, and a support system. Prior to joining the MCHS counseling team, Ms. Fields had been teaching Tap Dance for the past 15 years. She grew up in the South Bay and she enjoys dancing, cooking, yoga, painting and spending time with her friends and family.
