Mr. Oystrick has brought award winning global experience in education to Mira Costa High School. He has taught all over the world in places such as Australia, Canada, and the United States. He has also done educational research in many countries around Asia. Mr. Oystrick was awarded “Teacher of the Year” with Los Angeles Unified School District and also received a congressional award for his work in the classroom. He has a Masters degree in Environmental Earth Science, and has worked as an environmental consultant. At Mira Costa High School he has taught Earth Science, Biology, AP Environmental Science and he coaches the Mira Costa hockey teams.
