* This is an additional PTSA General meeting has been scheduled to discuss proposed adjustments to the PTSA budget approved at the General Meeting on Sept 20, 2018. The changes reflect the proposal to purchase 15 new umbrellas for the tables in the quad which currently do not have umbrellas and to purchase new, and update old, safety buckets which are currently expired. The proposal is for the PTSA to reduce our carry-forward technology reserve and use that money to purchase the umbrellas and the safety buckets with the remaining money to be added to our other undesignated reserves.
Since our next General Meeting is not scheduled until November, we would like to call a short special meeting of the general membership to discuss these items in more detail. We are very excited about the ability to improve the sun protection on the Costa Campus and provide the safety buckets which are required to be in each classroom.
