MIRA COSTA MODEL UNITED NATIONS BOOSTER CLUB
The MODEL UNITED NATIONS program is an award-winning debate program that allows students in every grade to compete and succeed at highly competitive Model UN conferences both nationally and internationally. Model UN students develop and hone their research, writing and public speaking abilities - skills that serve them for the rest of their lives. Supported by dedicated advisors and parent volunteers, the Model UN Program thrives thanks to donations from our families and the generosity of our community.
The Model UN program is a highly sought-after year-round elective within the Mira Costa curriculum. Your donation covers delegate fees for two required local conferences per semester (4 per year), advisor stipends for both the Fall & Spring semesters, student research materials and online subscriptions, and activities like Sophomore Welcome Day, the End of Year Banquet, and Parent Mixer, among other things.
In order to meet the rising costs of running this highly competitive program,
we are suggesting a donation of $425 per student*
*This includes a 4.84% online processing fee. We appreciate and thank you for your support.
